Williamsport Arts and Wine Festival 2009

The Williamsport Arts and Wine Festival was today August 8th from 11 AM to 5 PM.

The weather was great! There was plenty of wine from the regions wineries. Along with the several wineries in attendence there was lots of great art from local artists. There was also music and food for our enjoyment. For more information on upcoming events you can use the link below:

Birds in Nest

I caught these the day before they left the nest. There are actually four birds in the nest. They were in the nest for several weeks and both mother and babies were very tolerant of my intrusions.

It rained most of today, but around 7 PM the sun came out and I saw this.

Hang Gliding at Hyner Run State Park

Hang Gliders at Hyner Run State Park in the fall. They gather there several times a year and spend most of the day gliding. Some of them get so high, they disappear from sight.
